Of Portage Passed away on Friday, July 11, 2008 surrounded by his family, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Baby Carter was born on April 15, 2008. He bravely fought for three months, but succumbed to the complications of prematurity. Through God's mercy, he passed on to the next world. Surviving besides his mother Bethany Coburn and his father Robert Oman are on his mother's side, grandparents, Joel and Karen Coburn; Uncle Evan Coburn and Aunt Leah Coburn. On his father's side, grandparents, Robert and Tina Oman; Aunt Andrea Oman; and many, many other loving family members. A mass of Christian burial will be through St. Catherine of Siena in Portage on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00AM. Visitation will be Monday, July 14th from 6-8:00PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 Centre Ave., Portage.
