BEAUPRE, Carolyn J.
Kalamazoo Passed away November 13, 2011 at her residence. Carolyn was born July 6, 1928 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Cecil and Marjorie McCauley Bowler and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of St. Augustine High School when she was only 16 years old. Carolyn was employed at Michigan Bell Telephone Company as an operator and later in the Michigan Bell Service Center. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and was an avid collector. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband William J. Beaupre, II, by a son William Beaupre III, and by a granddaughter Cailley Reagan. surviving are 4 children, Kathie Carl Beaupre-Vietor, Peggie John Ashbury, Tim Deb Beaupre, and Molly Beaupre; 9 grandchildren, Ayslinn, James, Christina, Lauren, Katie, Nicholas, Annie, Sean, and Joe; and a great-granddaughter, Carlin; a sister-in-law Rosie Richard Cronkhite; several nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family at the langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carolyn's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
