Carol Nichols, 83, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 25 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Carol was born on March 29, 1939. Carol was a graduate of Climax-Scotts High School in 1957 and was employed at Stryker Company over 20 years, even right up until her death.

Carol was married to Robert Nichols who preceded her in death on May 13, 2011. Surviving is her daughter Heidi Reschner and son Hayden (Yui) Roe; her grandchildren: Arynn (Kenny) Murphy, Heather Reschner, Ian Reschner, Danielle Reschner and Nadia Roe; along with several great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Charlotte Longman & Margie (John) Meadowcroft, and sister-in-law Ann Hopkins.

Carol attended Climax United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters of Michigan for 67 years. She loved to play her organ, read and do crossword puzzles.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 6 at 12:30pm at Climax United Methodist Church, with a service at 1:30pm, followed by a luncheon at the Fellowship Hall.

Donations in Carol's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
