MASSEY, Carol A.
Of Portage, MI Passed away May 22, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. Carol was born February 23, 1935 in Paw Paw, MI, the daughter of Edward and May Smith Kunselman and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement, Carol was a District Representative for the Avon Company. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Kalamazoo Women's Bowling Association for many years and bowled in leagues at Sunset and Airway Lanes. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters, Esther, Joan and Cathy. On August 17, 1957, she was married to Charles L. Massey, who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Bill Kris Massey, Anna Perry Disbrow, Joe Sue Massey, David Ann Massey and Linda Brock Wirgau; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister Joyce Bob Hildebrand and a brother Larry Joyce Kunselman; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 o'clock on Wednesday, May 27th at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am Wednesday at the church. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery following a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's memory may be directed to the daughter Anna Disbrow to help defray funeral expenses.
