LANTING, Carol A.
of Portage Passed away April 4, 2012. Carol was born April 1, 1939 in Kalamazoo to the late Martin and Wilhelmina Eshuis Lanting. Carol was deeply committed to family and institutions dedicated to serving God and others, including Kalamazoo Christian Schools and Third Christian Reformed Church. Surviving Carol are her sisters, Norma David Meadows of Naples, FL and Celia Bert De Jong of Villa Park, IL; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Services for Carol will take place Saturday, 10:00 at Third Christian Reformed Church, 2400 Winchell Ave., Kalamazoo. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Family will greet friends on Friday from 4-7:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Memorials in Carol's name may be directed to Kalamazoo Christian Schools Association or to Third Christian Reformed Church.
