Carol Lynn Hamminga peacefully passed into the arms of her loving Savior, on October 30, 2021. Carol was born to Marvin L. and Kathleen (Morgan) Izenbaard on May 28, 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. For about 35 years, Carol suffered with Parkinson's Disease, and participated in the support group.

She was preceded in death by her father Marvin, sister Jan (Tom) Gernaat, and nephew Eric Izenbaard. Surviving are 2 daughters: Kristin (Jason) Guhl and Carrie (Jeff) Watson, 4 grandchildren: Kaylyn, Audrey, Elyse, and Clara Guhl, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 brother-in-law: Tim (Karin) Izenbaard, Jim (Kathy) Izenbaard, Maria (Richard) Reinbold, and Tom (Cindy) Gernaat plus several nieces and nephews.

Jesus said in John 11: 25-26. "I am the Resurrection and the Life; he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die."

A memorial service will be held 3:00 Friday afternoon, November 5, 2021, at Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Road, Kalamazoo MI 49004.
