BRADLEY, Carlton W.
Of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008. Carlton was born November 9, 1920, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the son of Carl and Esther Eulrich Bradley and has been a Kalamazoo resident since 1940. During WW II, he served from 1939-1944 in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. For over 25 years, he was employed with Radio Corporation of American as a T.V. Technician. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church for over 50 years. On September 20, 1942, he was united in marriage to the former, Ardith L. Ames who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Douglas Karen Bradley of New Mexico and Larry Bradley of Kalamazoo; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Bradley; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Bradley in 2004; and by two brothers, Roger and Leland Bradley. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, where funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials in Carlton's memory may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.
