CARTER, Carl D.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Carl passed away early Sunday morning, December 16, 2012 at his home. He was born August 11, 1935 in Naylor, MO, the son of Jessie and Effie Langley Carter. Carl was employed by General Motors for over 25 years until his retirement in 1994. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Carter; five children, Wanda Viento of MN, Sonjia Pat Jones Carter of Otsego, Kathy Ronny Warren Broussard of CA, Tim Michelle Lake of Green Bay, WI, and Gail Tim Bunch of West Lebanon, IN; eight grandchildren, Jessica Steven Porter, Crystal Bruce Knapp, Christen Broussard, Chelsea Broussard, Sadie Lake, Walker Lake, Ashley Edward Folmer and Dalton Bunch; six great-grandchildren, Kevin, Aaron, Katelynn, Chelsea, Edward and Matthew and sister, Ava Lane. Preceding him in death were his parents and seven brothers and sisters. Honoring Carl's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue with a luncheon following at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street.
