Burnice I. Meyers

MEYERS, Burnice I.
of Portage Went home to be with her Lord, on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the age of 81. She was born August 15, 1930 in Bangor, MI to the late Harmon and Catherine Johnson Baker. Burnice was united in marriage to Truman E. Meyers on July 2, 1948, who preceded her in death on October 6, 2005. Burnice loved her family and enjoyed living at the lake and raising her children. She also enjoyed spending her time and travels with her husband. Surviving Burnice are her children, Judy Doug Weeks of Bowling Brook, IL, Fred Judy Meyers, Terry Bonnie Meyers, Ron Diane Meyers and David Sheryl Meyers all of Portage; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Burnice in death were 9 brothers and sisters. A memorial service will take place Friday, 1:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. A private burial will take place at South Portage Cemetery.
