Kalamazoo, Michigan Bruce died unexpectedly Thursday morning, June 19, 2008, in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born April 7, 1955, in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of Louis and Marjorie Ruhs and had been a life long area resident. He was a skilled machinist for over 35 years and was currently employed by Parker ABEX. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother on January 27, 2006. On July 30, 2004, Bruce married the former Denise Green, who survives. Also surviving are: his son, Robert Alecia Ruhs of Sturgis; his father, Louis Ruhs of Kalamazoo; one sister, Barbara Michael Witzak of Kalamazoo; three brothers, Robert Kathleen Ruhs of Boyne City, Thomas Deborah Ruhs of Kalamazoo and James Linda Ruhs of Trophy Club, TX; five nephews, Andrew Ruhs, Christopher Ruhs, Alexander Ruhs, Craig Valerie Ruhs and Todd Ruhs; three nieces, Amy Chad Howell, Sarah Chas Stewart and Katie Ruhs; and two brothers-in- law, David Green and James Green. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Cremation will follow visitation. A graveside service will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, June 28, 2008, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock Township, with Pastor Glenn Middleton of Christian Fellowship Center of Sturgis, officiating.
