Three Rivers Passed away September 1, 2012 at the age of 60. Brian was born January 21, 1952 in Kalamazoo to Harold and Lily Stolzy Huff. He was united in marriage to Cathy Schreuder on June 10, 1972, who survives. Those who knew and loved Brian, know his wife, children and grand children were his pride and joy. He had a reputation as one of the best mechanics in the area. Brian had a wealth of knowledge and was eager to help anyone who needed him. Brian loved vehicles, restoring cars and tractors, riding four wheeler's and dirt bikes. During his time off he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing or mowing the lawn. You could always find him in his barn, tinkering with his next project. Brian lived life, getting the most out of each day. Brian knew how to have fun and was not afraid to do so. Surviving Brian are his wife, Cathy Huff; children, Wendy Bill Dorrance of Richland and Mindy Peters of Portage; 4 grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Zach and Angelina; mother, Lily Huff; sisters, Diane DeWaters, Lauri Jeff Bombich, Renee Gaylon Bell and Rhonda Dave Mills; brother-in-law, Craig Janet Schreuder; sisters-in-law, Caryn Braasch and Coleen Pete Beeke; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Brian in death was his father, Harold. Family will greet friends on Friday, September 7th from 10-11:00 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 o'clock. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of one's choice.
