HENLEY, Brian Bradford
Of Kalamazoo, MI Brian Bradford Henley passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the age of 61. He was born in Kalamazoo on April 26, 1952, the son of the late Walter and Jean Card Henley. He graduated from Hackett Catholic Central High School, and then attended both KVCC and WMU. He owned and operated Engineered Packaging Systems of Indiana until 1996. He then went on to own and operate Henley Real Estate in the greater Kalamazoo area. Active in the community, he served as a past president of the Paw Paw Chamber of Commerce. He took great joy in traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing, boating and time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his three children, Hutson Tapp, Rebecca Brian O'Connell, and Katherine Henley, all of the greater Lansing area; granddaughters, Eryn and Quinn O'Connell; partner Jamie Rehfeld of Richland; siblings Chris Susan Henley of Duluth, MN, Steve Julie Henley of Paw Paw, Jon Denise Henley of Wolverine, Anne Mike Rouse of Annandale, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Henley. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p. m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with prayer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Langeland Family Funeral Home, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 421 Monroe Street, Kalamazoo. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at
