Portage Passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007. She was born July 18, 1954 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Larry and Elizabeth Ann Bellingham Stermer, was a 1972 graduate of Comstock High School and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for several years. Beverly had worked as a care giver for many years and in her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and her cat. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Stanley. Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Mc Cormick of Portage; her mother, Elizabeth Ann Stermer of Climax; two sisters, Rose Tom Dewey and Carol Dale Lindsey all of Delton; her brother, Mark Stermer of Vicksburg; 8 nieces and 2 nephews. Cremation has taken place and a lakeside memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the home of Carol and Dave Lindsey, 11370 East Point Drive in Delton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Kalamazoo County Humane Society. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
