Galesburg Passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. Beverly was born June 18, 1928 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Wilbur and Cletus Prough Tibbitts and had lived in the Galesburg area for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, on August 1, 1991 and a brother. Beverly is survived by her children, Gregory A. Knetsch, Jody Layne John Johnson of Zeeland and Timothy Ross Knetsch of Galesburg; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Margaret Tibbitts of Augusta and Jim Dixie Tibbitts of Mattawan; a sister, Sandra Gary Denton of Hastings; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. with Rev. Whitney Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Galesburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorials may be given to the the charity of one's choice.
