WARNER, Beulah F. "Blondie"
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, January 11, 2009. Blondie was born November 27, 1934 in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Milton and Martha Boothe Keim and had been a resident in the Kalamazoo area for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and provided childcare for many children over the years who knew her as "Grandma". She loved the Lord and was an active member of the Ravine Road Baptist Church, and recently attended the Church of God Family Worship Center. Blondie was the founder of the Abused Parents of America and enjoyed writing poetry and crocheting. On March 17, 1954 she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 54 years, Jack Warner, who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Larry Rekia Warner, Naomi Mitten, Susan Johnny Axe, Sally Dwain Hanson, Linda Knox; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Bill Cheri Kemp, Myrna Welch, Julie Keim; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Dowler; grand-daughter, Dana Davis; step-father, Harry Kemp; and a brother, Ronald Keim. A service to celebrate Blondie's life will be held 11:00 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Rev. Edward L. Davis officiating. Private interment will be in West Cooper Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the chapel. Memorials may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society. www.langelands.com
