Kalamazoo, MI Died Wednesday morning April 11, 2012. Beulah was born April 2, 1917 in Villa Ridge, Illinois a daughter of Ralph and Mary Hayden Watson. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1955, coming from Charleston, Missouri. Beulah was employed with Okun Brothers for 12 years before retiring. She was also a member of St. Andrew Community Church and the Westwood Garden Club. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis M. Howard on August 15, 1992; a grandson, Michael Farrell; a son-in-law, Alex Perjesi; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers. She is survived by 3 children, Mary Ann Charles Farrell of Kalamazoo, Carol Sue Perjesi of Portage, and Willis "Mac" M. Rae Lee Howard of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Watson of Villa Ridge, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the St. Andrew Community Church or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
