Betty Ann Gross

GROSS, Betty Ann Passed away April 13, 2012 at the age of 80. She was born May 2, 1931 in Portage to the late Charles A. and Elizabeth Smit Kramer. Betty was a lifelong resident of Portage. She retired from Bronson Hospital after 25 plus years of service. Surviving Betty are her children, Dale Linda Gross of Kalamazoo, Doug Vinessa Gross of Vicksburg, Mary Beth Gross Kramer of Corvallis, OR and Donn Gross of Portage; 5 grandchildren: Jesse, Casey, Billy, Samantha and Kayleigh; sister-in-law, Judy Kramer of Richland; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Betty in death were a brother, Charles Kramer; and sister and brother-in-law, Irene Bill Miller. Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. A private interment will take place later at Central Portage Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice or to the Kalamazoo Humane Society. Her family would like to thank the staff of Tendercare Portage, and Bronson Hospital, and her close neighbors for the care of their mother.
