Of Portage Betty was born September 3, 1928, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Perry and Mabel Crummel Goolsby and passed away March 31, 2010 in Three Rivers. She was employed for 23 years with W.L. Molding; and loved volleyball, crocheting and bingo. On August 6, 1948, she married Dale Robert Frye, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 19, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. Surviving are her children, Beverly Hall, Dale Gloria Frye, Jr., Bonnie Donald Quakenbush and Alice James; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., where a service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday. Interment will be in Crane Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Southern Care Hospice. www.langelands.com
