Betty J Campbell

CAMPBELL, Mrs. Betty J. Kalamazoo, MI Formerly of Pullman, MI Passed away Monday morning, December 4, 2006, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo, MI. Betty was born December 25, 1942, in New Madrid, MO, a daughter of Harlinda and Pauline Wheat Flournoy. Before moving to Kalamazoo, Betty lived for many years in Pullman, MI and worked as an LPN at South Haven Hospital and the Pullman Heath Clinic prior to retiring. Betty was a member of Greater Faith Community Church of South Haven and very close to her friends in the South Haven Area. Betty was preceded in death by her father and by a brother, Billy. On November 28, 1964, Betty was united in marriage to Larry Campbell, who survives. Also surviving are: a daughter, Angela Eric Whitfield of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, India; her mother, Pauline Flournoy of South Haven; 4 brothers, Gary, Harlinda, Roger and Christopher; 3 sisters, Juanita, Vera and Inez; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held 11:00 Monday morning, December 11, 2006, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, with the Rev. Bernice Thomas of Greater Faith Community Church of South Haven, officiating. Interment in Mount Ever-Rest North Cemetery will follow services. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 Monday morning prior to the service at the funeral home. Betty?s family suggests memorials be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice Facility.
