Kalamazoo, Michigan Betty passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2008, at Kairos Dwelling. She was born June 30, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Isaac and Martha Plunkett. Surviving are 3 children, Linda Jack Barton of Idaho, William April English of Constantine, and Annette Roberts of Texas; special granddaughter and caregiver, Kim Hazen of Kalamazoo; 6 other grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jerry Janice Plunkett, Robert "Don" Plunkett, and Stan Plunkett. Preceding her in death were her husband, J. Joseph Anspaugh; mother, Martha Plunkett; father and step-mother, Isaac and Bernice Plunkett; 2 sisters, Margaret Mudget, and Geraldine Hahn; and 1 brother, Bill Plunkett. Funeral services for Betty will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the cemetery.
