ANDERSON, Mrs. Betty J.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Betty Anderson died Thursday March 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1953 in Niles, Michigan. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1983. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Anderson, and her son, Dwayne M. Anderson. Betty is survived by 2 sons: Frederick Kathryn Anderson of Carlisle, PA, and Jonathan LaToya Anderson of Toledo, OH; 8 stepdaughters: Daisy Anderson Layton, Lareane Ron Anderson Prather, and Brenda Anderson Moncrief of Kalamazoo, MI; Banita Raymond Anderson Drain, and Beverly Anderson Scott of Battle Creek, MI; Anita Anderson Boyd Jesse of Lansing, MI; Carol Errol Anderson Scott, and Marilyn Hooper Anderson Dan of Las Vegas, NV; 5 grandchildren: Jasmine, Dayquanna, Khalil, Daijon, and Dayanna. A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Private scattering of ashes ceremony to be done at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Betty Anderson's name to Interact of Michigan, 610 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
