SCOTT, Beth Ann Orsolini Of Kalamazoo Beth passed away Monday afternoon, March 19, 2007 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Beth was born November 7, 1960 in St. Clair Shores, MI the daughter of Gino and Carol Fox Orsolini. She was employed for 10 years as a historical librarian with the Kalamazoo Public Library and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Beth enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, San Francisco, Yellowstone Park, and a cruise to Alaska in 2004. She also enjoyed helping others, scrapbooking, and music. She was preceded in death by her father, Gino Orsolini on January 19, 2007. On July 26, 1980 she was united in marriage to John Scott who survives. Also surviving are 2 children, Dayton Crystal Scott, Daniel Scott; 1 granddaughter, Natalie; her mother, Carol Fox; brothers and sisters, Stephen and Katie Orsolini, Gregory Orsolini and Suzanne Roady, Christine Orsolini and David Agopian, Monica Orsolini, Nancy Orsolini and Craig Spink, Mary and Geoffrey Paine; and fourteen loved nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Beth?s life will be held 11:00 o?clock Friday at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W. Milham Rd, with Pastor Paul Nuechterlein officiating. Interment will follow in Genessee Prairie Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Memorials may be directed to the Making Memories Foundation or the Kalamazoo SPCA Animal Rescue.
