Bertha J. Daleiden

DALEIDEN, Mrs. Bertha J. Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning March 23, 2007. Bertha was born December 12, 1915 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Bert and Etta Broadwell Martens. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and attended the First Congregational Church years ago. She was also a charter member of the Kalamazoo County Golden ?K? Kiwanis. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John C. Daleiden on July 21, 2002. She is survived by 3 children, Joan J.R. Croteau of Mechanicsburg, PA, Jack Marilyn Daleiden of Portage, and Joyce Clarence Wade of Weaverville, NC; 7 grandchildren, Lynn, Deanne, Michelle, Sarah, Audrey, Anne, and Bradley; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 1 o?clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo County Golden ?K? Kiwanis or the Daleiden-Doerr Fund at Hackett Catholic Central High School.
