MOLL, Mrs. Bernice W.
Of Portage, Michigan Mrs. Moll peacefully joined her loved ones in heaven, passing away at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in her sleep. Residing in the Kalamazoo area most of her life, she was born August 12, 1917 in Elkhart, IN, the daughter of the late Roy and Gertrude DeYoung Hough. On July 5, 1947, she was united in marriage to Herbert H. Moll, and they were happily married for 46 years until his passing on May 29, 1994. She and Herb were both employed by The Upjohn Co., Bernice for 21 years until her retirement in 1966. She was a lifelong member of Second Reformed Church. Surviving are her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Borst, and several cousins and their families. "Boomie's" family and friends will miss her ready smile and her quick wit. Funeral services for Mrs. Moll will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Second Reformed Church, 2323 Stadium Drive, with Rev. Don DeYoung officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 4-7 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue and on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of services at church. Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Second Reformed Church - Memorial Fund.
