Bernard E. Mike Coy

COY, Mr. Bernard E. ?Mike? Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning August 24, 2007. Mike was born October 14, 1914 in Defiance, Ohio a son of Edward and Edna Stitsel Coy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Don Seelye for 20 years before he retired. He attended the Shepherd Center Day Club and also volunteered with Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen A. ?Artie? Coy on September 1, 1990. He is survived by 3 children, Philip Karen Coy of Vicksburg, Karen Marion of Portage, and Michael Patricia Coy of Portage; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Alta Griesto of Chicago, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o?clock Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shepherd Center.
