Climax Passed away Monday, September 29, 2008. Berl was born April 5, 1919 in Climax, the son of Donel and Bernice Selbee Myers and was a lifelong resident of the Climax area. He had worked for Eaton Manufacturing, Oliver Manufacturing, Barker Manufacturing in Vicksburg and Keyes-Davis , where he was a tool and die maker. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, going to casinos, fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Virginia L. Knauss Myers on May 26, 1995. His survivors include his sons, Rex K. Peggy Myers of Battle Creek and their children, Jeromy Rachelle Myers of Battle Creek Allison, Ryan Kelly Myers of Auburn, IN Colton and Addison and Casey Sarah Myers of Kentwood; Roger Beverly Myers of Portland, MI and their children, Robin Mike Pline Jesse, Ross Darcey Myers Brinna, Bethany and Brian and Ron Brinda Myers of Bad Axe, MI and their children, Bree Cheyenne, Brett, Kevin & Jennifer; a sister-in-law, Maxine Harold Kilburn, North Carolina; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 PM at the Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax, MI, with Rev. Travis Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St., on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
