Passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence with her family at her side. Bea was born October 13, 1922, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Bert and Myrtie Richfield Robinson. She graduated from Central High School in 1940, was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed ice boating, skating, swimming, nature and dancing in her early years. In 1946, she was married to H. Victor Hill and they resided at Long Lake until moving to Milwood in 1951. In retirement they moved to Klines Resort and spent 13 winters in Sebring, FL. She was employed with Milwood Schools for several years, International Paper for two years and retired in 1984 from Humphrey Products after 10 years. Bea loved to create: enjoyed many crafts such as sewing, upholstering, refinishing and decorating furniture, saws, antiques, and artwork with oils and acrylics. In her retirement years, she was instrumental in interesting others to paint and held classes both in Sebring and Klines Resort. She also enjoyed golf, fishing and the computer. In 2007 Victor preceded her in death following 61 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Thelma Page and a brother, Donald Robinson. Surviving are her two sons and spouses, Dennis and Denise Hill of Richland, Richard Hill and Diana Lipari of Valley Glen, CA; three grandchildren, Cameron, Andrew and Krista Hill all of Richland; a nephew and wife, Jack and Elizabeth Page of Vicksburg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29 from 9-11 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre St. where a service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Pastor Buff Coe officiating. Interment will follow in Vicksburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bea's memory may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan Rose Arbor, 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall, Suite 100, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
