Of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday morning, March 17, 2009 at the Sue's Loving Care Residence. Barbara was born November 1, 1922 in Kalamazoo the daughter of John and Gladys Shutes DeWitt and had been a life long resident in the Kalamazoo area. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 25 years with the American National Bank which later became Old Kent Bank. Barbara enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, and various other craft projects. On August 5, 1950 she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth Snow who preceded her in death on May 4, 2001. Surviving are 2 children, Kenneth Pam Snow, Laurie Ken Lanphear; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Kathleen Lanphear. A private family graveside service was held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
