Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning January 12, 2010. Barbara was born February 13, 1924 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Alvin and Dorothy Sherwood Seybert. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse R. Leatherman on September 21, 1990; a daughter, Linda Mason in 1967; and a brother, William Seybert. She is survived by 3 children, Larry Mary Leatherman of Fayetteville, NY, Dan Patricia Leatherman of Kalamazoo, and Diane Joseph Mathews of Lawton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several cousins. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Park Place Living Center for providing Barbara with compassionate and loving care. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
