Barbara A. Bradley

BRADLEY, Barbara A. Of Portage Passed away Saturday December 23, 2006. Barb was born August 7, 1935 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Oliver and Alberta Lesterhouse Johnson and has been a lifelong area resident. For over 27 years she was employed as a medical receptionist in the office of Dr. B. David Wilson. She was a member of the VFW Post # 5855 Ladies Auxiliary. Barb enjoyed cooking, reading, knitting, spending time with her online friends, but most of all loved spending time with her family. On August 22, 1968, she was united in marriage to Edward R. Bradley who survives. Also surviving are her children, Barry Lisa Miller of Plainwell, Cindy Randy Engelsman of Zeeland, Teri Jim Smith of Plainwell, Sondra Hillsburg Curt Reynolds of Mattawan; step-children, Robert Nancy Bradley of Vicksburg, William Nancy Learned of MA, Theresa Dick Hammel of Scotts, Michelle Calvin Caswell of Portage, Vincent Linda Bradley of West Olive; 9 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Beth Johnson of Plainwell; a sister, Delores Roy Burnside of Kalamazoo; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-2 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where Services will be held beginning at 2:00 pm Friday, December 29 with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating. A private burial will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials in Barb?s memory may be directed to Kairos Dwelling.
