Audrey E. Wood

WOOD, Audrey E. Portage Passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Audrey was born February 24, 1915 in Vicksburg, MI the daughter of Charles and Wilma Creglow Wright and had lived in the Portage area for many years. On June 15, 1950 she was united in marriage to Edward T. Wood, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1994. She was also preceded by her parents; a son, Larry Coleman; a daughter, Sally Sherman; her brother, Arden Wright; and her step-father, Leon Bivvins. Audrey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Richard Oryczcak of Portage; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Genevieve Wright of Marcellus; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Audrey will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday in the Greenwood Reformed Church, 1815 Winton Street, with Rev. Wallace Stoepker officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to Greenwood Reformed Church or Heartland Hospice of Kalamazoo.
