MELLIS, Audrey Elizabeth
of Texas Twp. Passed away June 9, 2011 as a result of an accident. She was born June 19, 2009 in Kalamazoo to Chad and Stephanie Chappell Mellis, who survive. Audrey brought great joy to everybody she was around. She enjoyed being outside and spending time with her friends and the special people in her family. She is missed by many and will never be forgotten. Also surviving Audrey are her grandparents, Toni Grabner, David Chappell and Kim Randy Mellis; great grandparents, Guy Wilma Rabidoux, David Marilyn Chappell, Corky MacClaren and Virginia Mellis; aunts and uncles, Michelle Mellis, Justin Guritz, Susan Chappell, Steve Chappell and Laura Stas Tinigin. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, 2:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Interment will follow the funeral service, at Hope Cemetery, Texas Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey's name, to the Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60614 or by going to www.lpzoo.org .
