Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, November 12, 2007. Art was born December 19, 1958 in Kalamazoo and was a lifelong resident here. During the Viet Nam conflict, he served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. Art is survived by his daughters, Brenda Westra and Christina Thorne and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. A visitation for Art?s family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
