REINBOLD, Arnold C.
Of Kalamazoo, MI Arnold passed away Friday, September 4, 2009. He was born January 24, 1927 in Vicksburg, the son of George and Lena Reinbold. Arnold was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. On November 13, 1948, he was united in marriage to Esther Combs. Arnold was employed by General Motors until his retirement in 1992. He was an avid golfer and bowler and earned many trophies over the years. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Esther Reinbold; their 2 children, Linda Clarence Osborn of Mattawan, and Lon Bailey Reinbold of Paw Paw; 2 grandchildren, Michael Jessica Osborn of Portage, and Teresa Jeff Hufnagle of Angola, IN; 2 great-grandchildren, Christian Osborn and Adam Hufnagle; 1 sister, Corlon Halsey of Edmore, MI; close friend, Ted Martin of Portage; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, and 5 brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Arnold will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Faith Fellowship Church, 44 W. VW Avenue, Schoolcraft. Interment with military honors will be in Boughton Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Tuesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Heartland Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
