Arla Madge Schieber

SCHIEBER, Arla Madge Galesburg Passed away Friday, January 26, 2007, at the Laurels of Galesburg. Arla was born in Charleston Township on March 26, 1921, to Charles and Madge Wells Schieber. She graduated from Climax High School in 1938. Arla lived and worked in the Kalamazoo area for many years and moved to Zephyrhills, FL, to care for her relatives there. She returned to Kalamazoo in 1987. Arla was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 brothers, Lee Schieber and Clare Schieber, and a sister-in-law, Martha Schieber. She is survived by: a brother, Dale Ardith Schieber; 3 nephews, Russell Schieber, Randy Schieber and Brad Schieber, and 3 nieces, Marlee Hawken, Cynthia Terry and Suzanne Gates. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Private interment in Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax, MI, will be held later.
