Arden ''Bud'' Felthoff

FELTHOFF, Arden J. Englewood, FL Formerly of Kalamazoo Arden J. ?Bud? Felthoff, 81, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 in Englewood. He was born June 1, 1925 in Schoolcraft, MI the son of Franklin and Esther Sanford Felthoff and had been a resident of Kalamazoo until 2000, when he moved to Englewood. Bud served his country during WW II with the 6th Infantry in New Guinea and the Philippines and received many medals and ribbons. Bud was a charter member of the Delton VFW Post 422 and the Comstock VFW Post 6252, and was a member of the American Legion Post 113 in Rotunda West. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Esther, Thelma and his twin sister, Ardeth; his brother, Melvin. Bud is survived by his daughter, Esther Denny Felthoff of Kalamazoo; two sons, Arden ?Bud? Felthoff, II and Clayton Jean Felthoff both of Englewood, FL; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Sara; two grand sons, Chris and Chad; great grandson, Jacob; 3 great granddaughters, Andrea, Lena and Emma; two sisters, Altamae Mael of Schoolcraft and Virginia Noteboom of Kalamazoo; one brother, Louis Felthoff of Ocala, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Pastor Andrew Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery with military honors provided by Comstock VFW Post 6252. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of service.
