Anthony L. Wescott

WESCOTT, Anthony L. Portage Passed away Friday, March 23. 2007. He was born January 15, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the son of Leland Duane Wescott and Anne Walsh and had been a resident of the Portage area since 1968. He attended Quigley pre-seminary and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago. Anthony was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and had served his country in the United States Navy. He began his working career with ISB, moving to Wise Personnel and retired from the State of Michigan as a Social Worker. Anthony is survived by his wife, the former Valerie Keidel; his children, Eric Wescott and his wife Christine, Gerard Wescott and Karla Wescott; a sister, Patricia Zech of MN. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. on Tuesday from 5-7 PM. A private funeral service will be held later.
