Annie Glas

Glas, Annie Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the age of 88. Annie was born in the Netherlands on September 12, 1924, the daughter of the late Abram and Grace Smit Glas. She came to this country with her family in April of 1949. Annie Worked many years for the American National Bank, where she retired in 1968. She was a longtime member of Second Christian Reformed Church. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Jake Carol Glas , Grace Mulder, Johanna Arie Gritter and Joe Glas all of Kalamazoo; sisters-in-law, Alie Glas of Kentwood and Sena Glas of Kalamazoo; cousins, Jim and Grace Pestoor of Kalamazoo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Nick Glas, Abe Glas and John Glas; sisters-in-law, Tres Glas and Martha Glas; and brother-in-law, Art Mulder. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd. Rev. Dr. Warren E. Lammers will officiate with burial in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park-North. Memorials may be made to Second Christian Reformed Church or a charity of choice.
