Anne M. Lucke

LUCKE, Anne M.
of Kalamazoo Passed away January 31, 2009 at home. She was born May 27, 1918 in Flint, Michigan to the late William and Dorothy Wakefield Emerton. She was married to Robert Lucke who preceded her in death in October of 1997. Anne was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, employed by General Motors Corporation for a time and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Anne enjoyed life and had many interests, among them she loved her gardens, playing golf at Gull lake Country Club, walking on the beach, water skiing, singing and dancing. Surviving Anne are her children, Fran Ted Little of Kalamazoo, Kathy David Stimpson of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Joel Jennifer Weisman, Andy Shelley Weisman, Ann-Marie Stimpson; great grandchildren, Kylar, Paris, Kohl, Avery and Emmery; brother, Robert Connie Emerton; cousin, Pat Fergusen; many nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends Thursday from 4-6:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Funeral services will take place, Friday, 1:00pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 247 W. Lovell St., Rev.Dr. Gary D. Hamp, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
