BROWER, Mrs. AnnaLuise Charlotte ?Lilo? Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning October 8, 2007. Lilo was born September 3, 1920 in Eberstadt, Germany a daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Haas Fien. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1948 and was employed with E.H. Tepe for 14 years. Years ago, she worked with the Shakespeare Company. She was also a member of Bethel Reformed Church and the German-American Club. She volunteered at the Comstock Community Center and enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking, and baking. On August 21, 1948, she was united in marriage to Glen J. Brower who survives. Also surviving, 2 daughters, Ingrid Donald Purk of Scotts and Kristine Alan Stine of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren, Carolee Purk-Hinton, Brandon Purk and Megan Purk, Aaron Stine, 2Lt. Jeffrey Stine, and Lauren Stine; 2 great-grandchildren, Tony and Emilee Hinton; a brother-in-law, Clarence Kaye Brower of Dawson, PA; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Charles Garlick of Dawson, PA. Services will be held 2 o?clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Graveside services will be held 11 o?clock Monday in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Comstock Community Center. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
