Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon March 8, 2011. Anna was born April 26, 1916 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Weiser Elwen. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Gilmore Department Store for 20 years before retiring. Anna also attended the Parchment Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie E. Herron on February 7, 1990; and a brother, Joseph "Dodie" Elwen. Anna is survived by 2 children, Leslie Julius Remeur of Kalamazoo and Allen Christine Herron of Flushing, MI; several grandchildren, Dan Julie Simmons, Jeff Sherri Simmons, Kevin Jessica Herron, Lorrie Fisher, Sheri Parker, Todd Remeur, Mark Remeur, Matt Remeur, and Gary Linihan; several great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Mike Jan Weiser of Issaquah, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10 o'clock Saturday at the Parchment Christian Reformed Church, 1615 East G. Ave. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Saturday in the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel.
