Anna M. Griffin

GRIFFIN, Mrs. Anna Margaret Kalamazoo Mrs. Griffin died January 31, 2007 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Anna was born August 9th, 1925 in Petoskey, Michigan, the daughter of Rev. Elmer and Lottie Brown Pritchard. She enjoyed sewing, playing bridge with her many friends and volunteering for her church. She was a long standing member of Parchment United Methodist Church. On February 19th, 1946, Anna was united in marriage to Jack Junior Griffin. She retired from the Kalamazoo Public Schools in 1979. Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Junior Griffin; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. Surviving are her 3 children, Annette Harry Todd of Kalamazoo, Jack Gayle Griffin of Delton, and Loretta Bobby Hendrickson of Grand Rapids; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Leon Anne Pritchard of Jackson, Elgin Ronnie Pritchard of Tucson, AZ, and David Prichard of Las Vegas, NV; along with several dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday tomorrow at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, with Rev. Dan Minor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday today at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Parchment United Methodist Church, National Multiple Sclerosis Society ? Michigan Chapter, or Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
