ADAMS, Anna M. Of Vicksburg, MI Anna passed away Tuesday morning, February 3, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born October 14, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of William and Emma Kelley. On October 28, 1950, she was united in marriage to Herbert W. Adams in Kalamazoo. A loving mother and wife, many in Kalamazoo knew Ann from her 30 years of working at the Beacon Club or admiring her classic 1966 red and white Ford Thunderbird. Ann and Herb shared a passion for showing their classic cars, driving in parades and participating in their car club. She was also the President of the Lost Again Car Club. A passionate bird lover, she enjoyed viewing nature in the acreage behind their home, listening to Elvis, watching classic movies and reading. She was also an avid gardener raising award winning irises. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Herb Adams; their 4 children, Sheila Sidney Everest of Marshall, Phillip Pamela Adams of Battle Creek, Vickie Craig Culver of Spring Lake, and Lynn Adams of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Erin and Todd Everest; and numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; step-mother, Myrtle Kelley; and many other sisters, and brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Entombment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
