Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday morning April 10, 2011. Ann was born January 22, 1918 in Three Rivers, Michigan a daughter of John and Grace Wagner. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1957 and was employed with the Kalamazoo Public Schools for 20 years before retiring. Ann was also a member of the Milwood United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold A. Mell in 1964; a brother, Marlon; and a sister, Dorothy. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Mell of Kalamazoo and Stephen Nadine Mell of Portage; a granddaughter; 2 great-grandsons; a brother, John Wagner of Three Rivers, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
