Ana Mercedes Bustamante was born November 22, 1923, in Colombia, S.A., the daughter of Santos Canizares and Isabel Bustamante. For 50 years she worked as a R.N. and also worked for 20 years as a secretary at Southern CA Conference of Seventh Day Adventist. She was a member of the Kalamazoo Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ana was an avid reader and excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. Surviving locally are nieces, Gladys Ahrens-Miller of MI, Isabel Hutcherson of CA; 22 nieces & nephews, 45 great nieces & nephews, 25 great-great nieces & nephews in North & South America. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will follow in Genesee Prairie Cemetery. Memorials to Voice of Prophecy Radio Program.
