Alvena M. Lovin

LOVIN, Alvena M. Vicksburg Mrs. Lovin passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 at her home. She was born August 20, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the oldest of five children to Floyd and Edith White Rector. Alvena worked for many years for Zayre Department Store until her retirement. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her friends at the Vicksburg Community Center. Alvena loved animals and gardening. She will be missed by her many family and friends. Preceding her in death are her parents and siblings. Funeral services for Mrs. Lovin will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00-12:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
