Alva ''Babe'' Jenkins, Jr

JENKINS, Alva ?Babe?, Jr. Kalamazoo Died suddenly on January 24, 2007. Babe was born March 5, 1943 in Rapids City, MI, the son of Alva and Florence Finney Jenkins and had lived in Kalamazoo for most of his life. He was previously employed by the Keene Corporation. Babe enjoyed being with his family and watching sports and game shows on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents and by 3 brothers, Bill, David and Dick Jenkins and by a sister Rosemary Payne. Surviving are 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Bonnie Bob Welch of Kalamazoo, John Audrey Jenkins of Kalamazoo, Betty Bob Due of Arkansas, Tom Jenkins of Kalamazoo and Sally Ken Longton of Scotts; a sister-in-law Lil Jenkins of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held 3:15 pm at Riverside Cemetery with Chaplain Debbie Lewis officiating.
