PULLEN, Mrs. Altha M.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday morning December 27, 2007 at her residence. Altha was born May 28, 1913 in Rock Falls, Illinois a daughter of Percival and Lavina Cain Ervin. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Probasco Decorating for 15 years, retiring in 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Howard Pullen in October of 1964; a son, John Pullen, Jr.; a daughter, Joycelyn Dettmann; and a brother, Hubert Ervin. She is survived by a son, Donald Karen Pullen of Tavares, FL; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Alex Ervin of Portage; a niece; a nephew; and a cousin. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Thursday, January 3rd in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
