Alice I Leslie

LESLIE, Mrs. Alice I. Kalamazoo, MI Died Wednesday afternoon September 12, 2007. Alice was born June 2, 1924 in Auburn, Indiana a daughter of David and Inez Sponhower Ridenhour. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1959 and was employed with the Shakespeare Company for 28 years, retiring in 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 5 children, Robert Karen Leslie, Gerald Leslie, Judith Leslie, Jackie Kevin VanDeusen, and Debbie Wear all of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 10 o?clock Saturday at the 12th Street Baptist Church, 3911 S. 12th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in West Oshtemo Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St.
