DOLLAHITE, Mrs. Alice T.
Kalamazoo, Michigan Died Friday evening January 9, 2009. Alice was born April 8, 1914 in Jonesboro, Arkansas a daughter of William and Clara Toy Spicer. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1958 and was a member of the Portage Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter M. Dollahite on December 31, 1984; a daughter, Linda Steele; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters. She is survived by 5 daughters, Ernestine Rugg of Kalamazoo, Dorothy Louise Kotus of Grand Rapids, Callie Don Frazine of Kalamazoo, Maxine Ken Wiejaczka of Chicago, IL, and Elaine Russ Bailey of Lawton; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Aladiene Smith of Azle, TX; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock Saturday at the Portage Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7415 Oakland Dr. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the Kingdom Hall. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
